Actress Chitrangada Singh, who went away with a lot of critical recognition in Sudhir Mishra's HAZAARON KHWAISHEN AISI, which later went into self-exile, for personal reasons. As is known, she is now making a comeback through the Director Onir's SORRY BHAI.
Just last week, there was news that Chitrangada had been offered a role in Aamir Khan's project, Delhi belly movie (opposite Ranbir Kapoor), and that she was awaiting the script of Abhinav DEO directed venture. Apparently, it was Abhinav who had proposed Chitrangada name to producer Aamir Khan, which she had worked in an ad film DEO.
The latest buzz making the rounds is that Chitrangada has turned down Aamir Khan's offer because of "professional" reasons. She went on to add that the three hero project Delhi belly movie had little to offer to her, when she was only interested in results-oriented roles. She also objected to a few scenes.
It is hoped that the next time around the actress-producer and now director perfectionist Aamir Khan approaches Chitrangada Singh with a 'performance-oriented role.
